GLASS = WATER = GLASS

From the period 1998 until 2004 Warren Langley created a series of light installations in Australian coastal locations. Having worked with glass on an architectural scale for almost 20 years the quest for ever larger pieces of glass led inevitably to water, with its equivalent qualities of refraction, reflection and diffraction. The body of work, loosely titled Glass=Water=Glass was a precurser to a similar body of work Lineage/Lineament in the Australian desert and 1999 saw the first incursions of these light based works into the built environment.
